It sucks to get up at 4! I literally cannot bear it. But sometimes, when you need to be somewhere early, you just gotta do it. I’m on my way to The Hamptons to see my friend, Penni Ludwig be honored at a party alongside Jane Goodall and Cornelia Guest! She does a lot of work to save elephants.
AsI sit on the runway, all traces of being miserable due to getting up so early fade away. I love being on an airplane. I love flying in the wee hours of the am. I got upgraded! Only because no one important gets up at 4 to fly at 6.
Blanket on. Drink in hand. Eye mask ready to catch up on lost sleep.
