There’s nothing wrong with spending a month in the Hamptons and topping it off with a 4 day jaunt to Costa Rica. In fact, there are so many great things about it that I will just list a few in succession:
East Hampton, NY:
Buying corn at farm stands.
Cocktail cruises on your friends boats.
My dad and my son hanging out together on a regular basis.
Sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews rotating through the house on weekends.
Peaceful weekdays to write while child in camp.
Citarella, Citta Nuova, Main Beach, Maidstone Club, Wollfer Estates music nights.
The Springs General Store…paying way too much for an iced coffee so you can sit on the front porch in an Adirondeck chair.
Round Swamp farm for flowers and corn salad; the Piggy Place for veggies.
